1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon granulated garlic or garlic powder
1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese

12 ounces non-alcoholic beer (or evaporated milk)
3 tablespoons melted butter (or plant-based butter)

Drizzle 3 tablespoons honey over mixture
Gradually pour in 12 ounces non-alcoholic beer, stirring continuously
Add melted butter and mix until just combined
Grease a 9″x5″ loaf pan with 1 tablespoon butter
Transfer batter to pan, smooth the surface, then brush with remaining melted butter
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 55-70 minutes
Let cool in pan for 10-15 minutes before slicing
Notes
Use gluten-free flour for a suitable alternative
Cheddar cheese adds flavor and moisture – consider non-GMO option
12-ounce beer enhances bready texture and flavor; milk provides richness instead
Chives lend fresh flavor, but parsley or basil work if not available
Cook time varies depending on oven and moisture levels
Store at room temperature in a sealed container for up to 3 days
