Description

Delightful Thai Basil Beef Rolls, a mix of flavor and texture, perfect for a quick meal or snack.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
  • Rice paper wraps
  • Lettuce leaves (optional, for wrapping)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  2. Add the minced garlic, soy sauce, and oyster sauce to the skillet, stirring to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the fresh Thai basil leaves.
  4. Prepare a bowl of warm water and dip each rice paper wrap for about 10-20 seconds until soft.
  5. Lay the softened rice paper flat and place a few tablespoons of the beef mixture in the center.
  6. Optionally, add lettuce leaves for added crunch.
  7. Fold the sides of the rice paper over the filling and roll tightly from the bottom to the top.
  8. Repeat with remaining rice paper and beef mixture.
  9. Serve immediately with dipping sauce if desired.

Notes

For best results, use fresh ingredients, and avoid soaking the rice paper too long to prevent tearing.
