Description

A delicious sweet and savory glaze enhances the natural flavor of salmon, making it a perfect dish for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  3. Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush generously with half of the glaze mixture, coating the tops and sides.
  4. Bake for 8 minutes, then remove from oven and brush with the remaining glaze mixture for extra flavor and shine.
  5. Return to oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes until salmon flakes easily with a fork and internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  6. Remove from oven and let rest for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately while hot.

Notes

Pat the salmon dry for better glaze adherence. For a spicy kick, add cayenne pepper to the glaze.
