Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the mushrooms until they are soft.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. In a large bowl, mix the cooked chicken, sautéed mushrooms, heavy cream, half of the cheese, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with the remaining cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is golden.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
