Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the mushrooms until they are soft.
- Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked chicken, sautéed mushrooms, heavy cream, half of the cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with the remaining cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and the cheese is golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
