Description
Festive and cheesy quesadillas shaped like pumpkins, perfect for Halloween parties.
Ingredients
- 10 – 8 inch flour tortillas
- 2 cups shredded colby jack cheese
- 4 inch pumpkin cookie cutter
Instructions
- Use the 4 inch pumpkin cookie cutter to cut 2 pumpkins from each tortilla, or cut them out by hand with a knife or kitchen scissors. Set the shaped tortillas aside.
- With a sharp knife on a cutting board, carve faces into half of the pumpkin shapes.
- In a large skillet, place one of the uncut pumpkin-shaped tortillas. Sprinkle cheese over the top of the uncut shape.
- Add a pumpkin face tortilla, face down, to the skillet.
- Once the cheese begins to melt, carefully flip the pumpkin face over.
- Remember to note the direction of the pumpkin stumps for better alignment.
- Repeat this process for the remaining tortillas.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce or salsa.
