Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, diced
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  4. Stuff the center of the loaf with diced mozzarella cheese.
  5. Top with marinara sauce and sprinkle with additional breadcrumbs if desired.
  6. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until fully cooked.
  7. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra moisture, add chopped bell peppers or zucchini. Avoid overmixing to keep it tender.
