Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, diced
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- Stuff the center of the loaf with diced mozzarella cheese.
- Top with marinara sauce and sprinkle with additional breadcrumbs if desired.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until fully cooked.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For extra moisture, add chopped bell peppers or zucchini. Avoid overmixing to keep it tender.
