Ingredients
- 1 pound salmon fillet, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
- Add the salmon pieces to the marinade and let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Remove salmon from marinade and place in the skillet, cooking for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and flaky.
- Pour the remaining marinade over the salmon and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, marinate the salmon for up to 30 minutes. Serve over rice or quinoa, and pair with steamed vegetables or salad.
