Ingredients
- Chicken (any cut)
- Soy sauce
- Brown sugar
- Ketchup
- Ginger (grated)
- Garlic (minced)
- Pineapple juice
- Vinegar
- Black pepper
- Green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, ginger, garlic, pineapple juice, vinegar, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Place the chicken in the marinade and refrigerate for at least 60 minutes, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken from the marinade and grill each piece for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- If cooking in the oven, preheat to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Serve garnished with sliced green onions.
