Description

Delicious grilled chicken marinated in a sweet and tangy Hawaiian-inspired sauce, perfect for barbecues and family dinners.


Ingredients

  • Chicken (any cut)
  • Soy sauce
  • Brown sugar
  • Ketchup
  • Ginger (grated)
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Pineapple juice
  • Vinegar
  • Black pepper
  • Green onions (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, ginger, garlic, pineapple juice, vinegar, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place the chicken in the marinade and refrigerate for at least 60 minutes, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove chicken from the marinade and grill each piece for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. If cooking in the oven, preheat to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Serve garnished with sliced green onions.
