Description
French dip sliders are a delightful twist on the classic sandwich, featuring juicy roast beef, caramelized onions, and melted Swiss cheese on soft buns, served with savory au jus.
Ingredients
- 1 lb roast beef, sliced
- 12 slider buns
- 1 cup caramelized onions
- 6 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 cup au jus for dipping
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Optional toppings (pickles, peppers)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Sauté onions in a skillet over medium heat until caramelized and golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
- Assemble the sliders with a generous amount of roast beef and a spoonful of caramelized onions in each slider bun.
- Top with a slice of Swiss cheese, then place assembled sliders on a baking sheet.
- Melt butter in a small bowl and mix in garlic powder. Brush the tops of sliders with this mixture.
- Bake for about 10 minutes, or until sliders are heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve warm with a side of au jus for dipping.
Notes
Use high-quality roast beef for the best flavor, and don’t rush the caramelization of the onions for added sweetness. Serve immediately for optimal texture.
