Description
Zesty all-beef hot dogs grilled to perfection and smothered in a spiced sweet-sracha sauce with smoky cheese, onions, jalapeños, and cilantro. A quick, easy recipe with bold, balanced flavors.
Ingredients
8 all-beef hot dogs
8 soft hot dog buns
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp sriracha
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp lime juice
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
¼ cup diced red onions
¼ cup jalapeños
¼ cup chopped cilantro
Instructions
Whisk mayonnaise, sriracha, honey, paprika, garlic powder, and lime juice in a bowl until smooth. Adjust spice or sweetness as needed.
Dice onions and jalapeños (seed jalapeños for milder heat). Shred cheese and chop cilantro.
Preheat grill to 400°F (200°C). Oil grates to prevent sticking.
Grill hot dogs 5-7 minutes, rotating for char. Pierce with tongs if swelling occurs.
Toast buns for 1-2 minutes on grill. Assemble with cheese in the buns, then layer with hot dogs, remaining toppings, and firecracker sauce.
Notes
Use certified halal hot dogs if needed. For extra flavor, substitute pepper jack cheese. Cover sauce and refrigerate up to 3 days. Charring hot dogs enhances smoky flavor.
Adjust spice level by modifying sriracha quantity.
