A simple and flavorful salmon marinade that keeps the fish moist and enhances its taste.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (optional, e.g., dill or parsley)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, honey, salt, and pepper.
- Place the salmon fillets in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve with fresh herbs if desired.
