Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (skin-on)
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Begin by gathering all your ingredients. Mince the garlic and have your salmon fillets ready.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic to create the glaze.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the pan. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  4. Turn the salmon over and pour the honey garlic glaze over the top. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, spooning the glaze over the fish.
  5. Once the salmon is cooked through, remove from heat, serve hot and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the glaze or top with sliced jalapeños. Make sure not to overcrowd the pan while cooking.
