Description

A delightful wrap filled with crispy chicken, savory bacon, fresh vegetables, and creamy ranch dressing, perfect for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 strips of bacon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips, seasoning them with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Gather three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with buttermilk, and the third with panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Dip each chicken strip in flour, then buttermilk, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat and fry the chicken strips until golden brown and crispy, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  5. Drain the cooked chicken on paper towels.
  6. Cook the bacon in a separate pan until crispy and crumble it once drained.
  7. Lay the tortillas flat, spreading about a tablespoon of ranch dressing on each.
  8. Assemble the wraps with layers of lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, chicken strips, and crumbled bacon.
  9. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, rolling it up tightly from the bottom.
  10. Slice each wrap in half and serve immediately.

Notes

Double-dip chicken for extra crunch. Ensure oil is hot for optimal crispiness.
