Description

Delightful and easy-to-make white chocolate bars with a rich buttery flavor and sweet white chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • 225g (1 cup) melted butter (cooled)
  • 340g (1¾ cups) brown sugar or demerara sugar
  • Two eggs
  • 285g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
  • 100g (½ cup) white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Set the oven to 180°C (356°F) and line a 9-inch square pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk the sugar and eggs together in a medium-sized bowl until well blended.
  3. Slowly pour in the cooled melted butter while stirring the egg mixture.
  4. Stir in the flour until it’s fully mixed in; the batter will get super thick.
  5. Fold in the white chocolate chips, making sure they’re spread out evenly.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface. If desired, sprinkle some sea salt on top.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes until the edges are firm and the top is golden.
  8. Leave it to cool completely in the tin before lifting it out and slicing it into 9 pieces.

Notes

For a fun twist, you can add nuts like chopped almonds or macadamia nuts, or vanilla extract for enhanced flavor. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
