Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Mix in the orange zest and fresh orange juice until well combined.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the centers are set.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For thicker cookies, consider chilling the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
