Delightful cookies that combine the rich flavor of chocolate chips with creamy white chocolate, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened (2 sticks)
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Beat together the sugars and butter until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla and mix until well combined.
- Add flour mixture and mix at low speed until just combined.
- Stir in all chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Scoop 2-tablespoon portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spaced 2 inches apart, and shape them into taller columns.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the bottoms are golden brown.
- Let cool on the sheet for 2-5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
Notes
For chewier cookies, remove from the oven when slightly underbaked and consider chilling the dough before baking.
