Description

Delightful cookies that combine the rich flavor of chocolate chips with creamy white chocolate, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened (2 sticks)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Beat together the sugars and butter until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add egg, egg yolk, and vanilla and mix until well combined.
  6. Add flour mixture and mix at low speed until just combined.
  7. Stir in all chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  8. Scoop 2-tablespoon portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spaced 2 inches apart, and shape them into taller columns.
  9. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the bottoms are golden brown.
  10. Let cool on the sheet for 2-5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

Notes

For chewier cookies, remove from the oven when slightly underbaked and consider chilling the dough before baking.
