  2. Add the fresh cranberries to the saucepan and let them simmer for about ten minutes.
  3. Remove the cranberries with a slotted spoon and place them on a wire rack. Let them cool for one hour.
  4. Once cooled, roll the cranberries in powdered sugar until thoroughly coated.
  5. Allow the cranberries to dry for a few hours before serving.
