Description

Delicious cookies that combine the sweetness of white chocolate with the tartness of fresh blueberries.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup white chocolate morsels
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries, washed and dried
  • 2 tbsp milk (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the salt, baking soda, and flour.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. If the dough is too dry, add the milk.
  6. Gently fold in the white chocolate morsels and fresh blueberries. Be careful not to overmix to keep the blueberries intact.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For chewier cookies, consider slightly underbaking them.
