Description
Delicious cookies that combine the sweetness of white chocolate with the tartness of fresh blueberries.
Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup white chocolate morsels
- 1 cup fresh blueberries, washed and dried
- 2 tbsp milk (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the salt, baking soda, and flour.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. If the dough is too dry, add the milk.
- Gently fold in the white chocolate morsels and fresh blueberries. Be careful not to overmix to keep the blueberries intact.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For chewier cookies, consider slightly underbaking them.
