Deliciously chewy chocolate chip cookies with melty chocolate chips, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda; set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and salt until smooth.
- Beat in the vanilla and eggs until fluffy.
- Gradually blend in the flour mixture, then stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicely browned.
- Let cool on pans for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature or freeze for longer storage. Use room temperature butter for easier creaming.
