Description

A delightful sandwich made with hung curd and crispy toasted bread, perfect for breakfast or a light snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup curd
  • ½ onion (chopped)
  • 1 tsp green chilli (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp coriander (chopped)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp oregano
  • 4 bread slices (brown)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 8 curry leaves


Instructions

  1. Drain the curd using a muslin cloth over a sieve until it reaches a thick consistency.
  2. Mix the hung curd with chopped onion, green chilli, coriander, salt, and oregano in a bowl.
  3. Spread the mixture over bread slices and assemble into sandwiches.
  4. Heat oil in a tawa, add mustard seeds and curry leaves, then roast the sandwiches until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  5. Cut each sandwich in half and serve with green chutney and tomato ketchup.

Notes

For richer taste, consider adding grated cheese to the sandwich mixture. You can also adjust spice levels as per your preference.
