Delicious chocolate chip cookies enhanced with white chocolate and peppermint, perfect for the festive season.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, cream the butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and crushed peppermint candies.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For extra festive touch, drizzle melted white chocolate on top before serving.
