Description

A delightful side dish that combines the sweetness of corn with a kick of Cajun spices, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 6 ears of corn, husked and cleaned
  • Oil spray (olive oil or avocado oil)
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 1.5 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 3/4 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp brown sugar
  • 3/4 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust for heat preference)
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper


Instructions

  1. Husk and clean each corn cob thoroughly. Cut each ear into 3-4 bite-sized pieces (about 1.5 inches each).
  2. Place corn in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with oil.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Flip the corn, spritz the underside with oil, and cook for another 5 minutes at 400°F.
  5. Continue cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown, rotating as needed (total cook time: ~13-14 minutes).
  6. In a large bowl, melt butter in the microwave (about 10-15 seconds). Whisk in Cajun seasoning until smooth.
  7. Transfer hot corn from the air fryer to the bowl of Cajun butter. Toss well to coat evenly.
  8. Serve warm with ranch dressing for dipping.

Adjust the spice level to your preference and try using fresh herbs for a fresher taste.
