Description

A festive bread bursting with nutmeg, cinnamon, and tart cranberries, topped with a sweet white chocolate glaze.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup fresh or dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup white chocolate, melted (for glazing)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, mix the eggnog, melted butter, and eggs until well combined.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Fold in the cranberries and white chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  9. Drizzle melted white chocolate on top before slicing.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature ingredients and avoid overmixing the batter.
