Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the flaky pastry on a baking sheet.
  3. Layer the sliced tomatoes over the pastry.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the pastry is golden and the tomatoes are tender.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
