Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon warm water (about 105-115°F)
- 6 tablespoons granulated sugar (divided)
- 1 packet active dry yeast (2 ¼ teaspoons)
- 1 cup warm whole milk (about 105-115°F)

- 1 large egg (room temperature)
- 3 ½ cups bread flour
- ¼ cup unsalted butter (softened, for serving)
- 2 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the warm water, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and yeast. Let it sit until frothy (about 5-10 minutes).

- Gradually add the bread flour until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, about 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled.
- Punch down the dough and divide it into equal pieces. Shape each piece into a roll.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise for another 30-45 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
