Description

A flavorful and creamy garlic butter chicken skillet reminiscent of Texas Roadhouse, ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir well and allow to thicken slightly.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, let it simmer longer or add a sprinkle of cornstarch mixed with water to the cream.
