Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and set aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through (internal temp should be 165°F). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the chicken broth to deglaze the pan. Stir in the butter mixture and cook until smooth.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it with the sauce. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F for safety. You can add a pinch of cayenne pepper for an extra kick.
