Description

Taco Cups are a fun and tasty twist on traditional tacos, perfect for parties and weeknight dinners with seasoned beef and crunchy wonton wrappers.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • Cooking spray
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning according to package instructions and mix well.
  4. Lightly grease a muffin tin with cooking spray.
  5. Press a wonton wrapper into each muffin cup, forming a bowl shape.
  6. Fill each wonton bowl with a spoonful of the seasoned ground beef, then top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the wonton wrappers are crispy and the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Customize the filling with beans or corn; for a healthier option, use ground turkey.
