Description

A delightful dish combining sweet honey and spicy red pepper flakes, perfect for busy weeknights or dinner parties.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Marinate the chicken thighs in the sauce for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat a pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Remove chicken from the marinade and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until cooked through and caramelized.
  6. Drizzle remaining marinade over the chicken while cooking.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
  8. Serve hot with rice or salad.

Notes

Let the chicken marinate longer for more flavor. Ensure the pan is hot for a good caramelized crust. Don’t skip the garnishes for added crunch.
