Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup pineapple chunks (canned or fresh)
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
- Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot and pour the sauce over the chicken.
- Add pineapple chunks on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes (6 hours) to 480 minutes (8 hours) or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
- Shred the chicken with two forks and stir it back into the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions.
