Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (canned or fresh)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Green onions (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot and pour the sauce over the chicken.
  3. Add pineapple chunks on top.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes (6 hours) to 480 minutes (8 hours) or until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks and stir it back into the sauce.
