Description

A delightful dessert combining the buttery flavor of sugar cookies with rich cheesecake, perfect for gatherings or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar cookie dough, cut into small balls for topping
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Press 1 1/2 cups of sugar cookie dough into the bottom of the pan to form the crust. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then mix in the vanilla extract and sour cream.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the baked crust.
  6. Drop small balls of sugar cookie dough on top of the cheesecake mixture.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set but still slightly wobbly.
  8. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
  9. Add sprinkles before serving if desired.

Notes

Serve chilled for the best flavor. You can add whipped cream or extra sprinkles for a festive touch. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
