Description

Delightful no-bake truffles made with strawberry cake mix, frosting, and colorful sprinkles. Perfect for parties and special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of strawberry cake mix
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup of strawberry frosting
  • 1-2 cups of white chocolate or candy melts
  • 1 cup of sprinkles (your favorite color)
  • Optional: crushed freeze-dried strawberries for extra flavor

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool completely.
  4. Crumble the cooled cake into small pieces in a large bowl.
  5. Add the strawberry frosting to the crumbled cake and mix until well combined.
  6. Roll small portions of the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Chill the truffles for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  8. Melt the white chocolate or candy melts in the microwave at 30-second intervals until smooth.
  9. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.
  10. Sprinkle your choice of colored sprinkles over the truffles before the coating sets.
  11. Let the coated truffles set at room temperature or refrigerate for quicker hardening.
  12. Once set, the truffles are ready to serve and enjoy!

Notes

Truffles can be frozen for up to three months. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator.
