Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 box Stove Top stuffing mix
- 1 cup water
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, stuffing mix, water, egg, and half of the ketchup.
- Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- Spread the remaining ketchup on top of the meatloaf.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with mashed potatoes.
Notes
For added flavor and nutrition, consider mixing in chopped vegetables like onions or bell peppers. A tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce can add moisture.
