Description

A delicious and easy meatloaf recipe enhanced with stuffing for added flavor and texture, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 box Stove Top stuffing mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, stuffing mix, water, egg, and half of the ketchup.
  3. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  5. Spread the remaining ketchup on top of the meatloaf.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C).
  7. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with mashed potatoes.

Notes

For added flavor and nutrition, consider mixing in chopped vegetables like onions or bell peppers. A tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce can add moisture.
