Delicious Sticky Sweet Chili Chicken Thighs in the Air Fryer, featuring a crispy texture and a delightful sweet and savory glaze.


Ingredients

  • 8 bone-in chicken thighs
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel.
  3. Season the chicken with avocado oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Air fry the chicken skin side down for 15 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, mix sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, and oyster sauce.
  6. Baste the chicken with the sticky sauce while air frying at least 3 times.
  7. Add another 10 minutes of cooking time, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  8. For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2-3 minutes.
  9. Remove from the air fryer and let the chicken rest for a few minutes.
  10. Serve over jasmine rice or with favorite vegetable sides.
