Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 8 oz noodles (rice noodles or egg noodles)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and red chili flakes (if using) to form a flavorful sauce.
  2. Toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  3. Warm vegetable oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the coated chicken and cook for 6 to 8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chicken and let it simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until thick and sticky.
  6. Cook the noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  7. Add noodles to the skillet with the chicken and toss to combine.
  8. Sprinkle green onions and sesame seeds before serving hot.
