Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper to create the sauce.
- In a pan, heat some oil over medium heat, add the diced chicken, and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir well, allowing it to simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
- Serve the cooked chicken over a bed of rice, and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the sauce for 30 minutes before cooking. Use jasmine or basmati rice for more fragrance.
