A sweet and colorful side dish made with tender baby carrots glazed in honey and cinnamon, perfect for any meal.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds baby carrots
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Place the baby carrots in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together honey, melted butter, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the carrots and stir to coat.
- Cover and cook on low for 240-300 minutes or on high for 120-180 minutes, until the carrots are tender.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
Store leftover carrots in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. To reheat, microwave or heat in a pot with a little water.
