Description

A sweet and colorful side dish made with tender baby carrots glazed in honey and cinnamon, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds baby carrots
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Place the baby carrots in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix together honey, melted butter, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the carrots and stir to coat.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 240-300 minutes or on high for 120-180 minutes, until the carrots are tender.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Store leftover carrots in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. To reheat, microwave or heat in a pot with a little water.
