Description

A creamy and comforting chicken Alfredo dish made easy in a slow cooker, perfect for busy families.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Before serving, cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions.
  5. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, shred the chicken in the slow cooker and stir in the cooked fettuccine.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a thicker sauce, use less chicken broth. You can add vegetables like broccoli or spinach in the last hour of cooking.
