Description

A rich and creamy casserole with ham and potatoes, perfect for family dinners or potlucks.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups potatoes, thinly sliced (russet or Yukon gold)
  • 2 cups cooked ham, diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Grease the slow cooker with cooking spray.
  2. Layer half of the sliced potatoes at the bottom.
  3. Add half of the diced ham followed by half of the cheese.
  4. Repeat with the remaining potatoes, ham, and cheese.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour the cream mixture evenly over the layers in the slow cooker.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the potatoes are tender and cheese is melted.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Prep ahead by slicing the potatoes and ham a day in advance. For thicker casserole, use less cream or add extra cheese.
