A rich and creamy casserole with ham and potatoes, perfect for family dinners or potlucks.
Ingredients
- 4 cups potatoes, thinly sliced (russet or Yukon gold)
- 2 cups cooked ham, diced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Grease the slow cooker with cooking spray.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes at the bottom.
- Add half of the diced ham followed by half of the cheese.
- Repeat with the remaining potatoes, ham, and cheese.
- In a bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the cream mixture evenly over the layers in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the potatoes are tender and cheese is melted.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Prep ahead by slicing the potatoes and ham a day in advance. For thicker casserole, use less cream or add extra cheese.
