Ingredients
- 1 lb beef (such as chuck roast or brisket)
- 4 cups beef broth
- 2 cups water
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch piece of ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 packages ramen noodles
- Green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- Soy sauce or chili oil (for serving, optional)
Instructions
- Add the beef, beef broth, water, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil to the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or high for 180-240 minutes until the beef is tender.
- Remove the beef from the slow cooker and shred with two forks.
- Return the shredded beef to the slow cooker.
- Add the ramen noodles during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and additional soy sauce or chili oil if desired.
Notes
For best results, choose a cut of beef that becomes tender when slow-cooked. Adjust cooking time based on your slow cooker model.
