Description
A tender and flavorful pulled pork dish made in a slow cooker with zesty barbecue sauce, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 4–5 pounds pork shoulder or pork butt
- 1 cup BBQ sauce (your choice)
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Buns for serving
Instructions
- Place the sliced onions and minced garlic in the slow cooker.
- Rub the pork shoulder with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, and place it on top of the onions.
- Pour the BBQ sauce and apple cider vinegar over the pork.
- Cover and cook on low for 480-600 minutes or until the pork is tender and easily shredded.
- Remove the pork, shred it with two forks, and return it to the sauce in the slow cooker, mixing well.
- Serve on buns with additional BBQ sauce if desired.
