Ingredients
- 1 (3 to 4 lb) beef brisket
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Trim excess fat from the brisket and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the beef brisket in the slow cooker.
- Mix together beef broth, BBQ sauce, onion, garlic, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and smoked paprika in a bowl. Pour the mixture over the brisket.
- Cover and cook on low for 480-600 minutes or until the meat is tender.
- Remove the brisket and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with additional BBQ sauce if desired.
