Description

A quick and satisfying weeknight meal featuring pan-seared chicken thighs and crisp-tender green beans in a rich garlic butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Place chicken thighs in the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add butter and garlic, and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add green beans and stir to coat them in the garlic butter.
  7. Cook green beans for about 5-7 minutes until tender.
  8. Return the chicken to the skillet, cook for another 2-3 minutes to warm through, and serve.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, use vegan butter or increase the olive oil. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
