Delicious and nutritious baked protein chocolate oats, perfect for breakfast or a post-workout snack.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
- 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 banana (mashed, optional for sweetness)
- Pinch of salt
- Chocolate chips (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Stir in the almond milk and maple syrup until well combined. If using, fold in the mashed banana.
- Pour the mixture into a ramekin or small baking dish.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top if desired.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the oats are set.
- Let cool slightly before enjoying.
