Instructions

  5. Place a Dutch oven with its lid in the oven to heat for 30 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, turn the dough out onto a floured surface and shape it into a ball.
  7. Let it rest while the Dutch oven heats.
  8. Carefully remove the hot Dutch oven, place the dough inside, cover it, and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Remove the lid and bake for another 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
  10. Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
