Description

A quick and easy meal combining the sweetness of honey with robust garlic flavor, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds Boneless, Skinless Chicken Thighs
  • 0.5 cup Honey
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 0.25 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • 2-3 Green Onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil

Instructions

  1. Rinse the chicken thighs under cold water and pat dry. Season with ground black pepper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce. Whisk until blended.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken thighs for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Flip chicken and pour honey-garlic mixture over the top. Cover and reduce heat to medium.
  5. Cook for an additional 10-15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Remove chicken from skillet and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  7. Simmer the sauce for a few minutes if a thicker glaze is desired.
  8. Drizzle sauce over sliced chicken and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the honey-garlic mixture for a few hours before cooking. You can substitute chicken thighs with boneless, skinless chicken breasts if preferred.
