Ingredients

  • 2 bone-in pork chops
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels and season them with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Once the oil is hot, add the pork chops to the skillet.
  4. Sear the chops for 4-5 minutes on each side until they develop a golden-brown crust and reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  5. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, ensure the pork chops are at room temperature before cooking and use a meat thermometer for perfect doneness.
