Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- ½ lb hot Italian sausage (cooked and crumbled)
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup crumbled feta cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
- ¼ cup hot honey (or a mix of regular honey and chili flakes)
- Fresh herbs (parsley or basil) for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare Dough: Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Cook Sausage: In a skillet, cook the hot Italian sausage over medium heat until fully browned and drain excess fat.
- Assemble Pizza: Place rolled-out dough on a pizza stone or lined baking sheet. Brush with olive oil and layer mozzarella, crumbled sausage, and feta cheese.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) and bake the pizza for about 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
- Finish: Drizzle hot honey over the pizza and sprinkle red pepper flakes if desired.
