A hearty and satisfying Keto breakfast casserole packed with protein and healthy fats, perfect for a low-carb lifestyle.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage (pork or turkey)
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil (optional, for greasing)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with olive oil if desired.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Add the cooked sausage and chopped spinach to the egg mixture, stirring until everything is evenly coated.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly on top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is lightly browned.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the casserole cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
