Ingredients
- 1 lb sausage (e.g., smoked or Italian sausage)
- 4 cups cabbage, chopped
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes for heat, green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the sausage and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Remove the sausage from the skillet and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, add the onion and garlic; sauté until the onion becomes translucent.
- Add the chopped cabbage and cook until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Return the sausage to the skillet and stir in the soy sauce.
- Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with green onions if desired.
